Responsibility for compliance with the quality criteria for biogenic fuels, including the implementation of quality controls at the association members in cooperation with external analysis laboratories
Establishment of a technical commission to define specifications and regulations for new biogenic fuel products
Participation in the standards committee of the Swiss Association for Standardization for the definition of standards and guidelines for the use and handling of biofuels
Independent leadership of working groups
Observation and analysis of developments in European industry organizations, markets and regulatory frameworks.
Developing a basis for decision-making for the management and the Board of Directors
Contact and negotiating partner for trading companies, industry, authorities and specialist agencies for the handling of biogenic fuels (storage, transportation, safety)
Collaboration in the drafting of statements for consultations
Preserving and maintaining the expertise of industry organizations
Participation in specialist events at home and abroad
Your profile
University of Applied Sciences or Uni/ETH degree with a scientific or technical background
Good knowledge of chemistry, ideally in the field of oils/greases
Experience in handling dangerous goods an advantage
Very good knowledge of MS Office and use of statistical tools such as R, SPSS or MatLab desirable
Enjoy interpreting and processing data
Independent and precise way of working with pleasure in conceptual work
Quick comprehension and interpretation skills
Communicative, responsible and team-oriented personality with motivation, initiative and commitment
Business fluent in German and/or French, fluent in English
