You report directly to the Production Manager and act as his deputy for a team of 4 people
Production of the magnetic core and the polymer coating of the nanoparticles for the clinical studies and for the market launch
Planning and execution of experiments for the optimization and scale-up of multi-stage chemical manufacturing processes
Troubleshooting in production and processing CAPAs
Planning, implementation and documentation of process validation, including OQ & PQ
Project management for process development and validation at CDMOs
Review and approval of batch records, SOPs and manufacturing instructions
Support with the purchase of raw materials, consumables and supplies
Your profile
Completed scientific studies (Master's/Doctorate) in chemistry, biochemistry or a related field.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in chemical, pharmaceutical or API manufacturing.
Advanced knowledge of ISO 13485 or GMP requirements for the manufacture of medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
Good knowledge of the review and approval processes of manufacturing documentation
Experience in project management and coordination of CDMOs
Highly self-motivated, independent and generalist with a hands-on attitude
Fluent English, German is highly desirable

Based in Zurich, the company is currently in the clinical development phase. The production and development team at the Schlieren site will be further strengthened in order to meet the demand for the materials.
