Swiss boards of directors are currently facing key challenges: Succession planning, the shortage of skilled workers and strategic realignments dominate the agenda. The pressure caused by unforeseen events in recent years has left its mark on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular.
In this context, almost half of all SMEs have revised their board structures in order to be able to react more flexibly to new requirements. The adjustments are aimed at expanding expertise, speeding up decision-making processes and giving companies a stable foundation in uncertain times.
This change shows: Agility and strategic foresight are increasingly becoming key competencies for successful administrative work.
